Default Quote of the week "thrown under the bus"

I have seen it referenced now at the city and state level in the past couple of days,
What ever happened to getting thrown under the train,or thrown across the tracks or is there a GM bus conspiracy behind all of this

You're still learning about our oddities here, Richard...but from a casual glance you might recognize that civilians don't encounter trains as often as they do busses here, LOL.

Rewatch "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", but realize it was GM who 'did it' to Los Angeles, but after learning from Ford after he did it here.

That half-cartoon was based on a true story...

That's the nature of being in politics. In the end, you will get thrown under the bus and when you emerge from under that bus you get to walk away with a fresh tire-tread tattoo.

I remember that movie well. When I was a kid, I watch it so much, my parents were worried I would die laughing from it.

I watch it now, I fully understand how transit in Detroit is the way it is.

Every time I'd ride the Red Line home from my Wilshire office, when I lived in LA...I'd get a throwback to that movie. Yeah, my mind is a little warped.

I loved riding public transportation in Los Angeles. Shame we cannot figure out how to do it here.
