Heritage Works Kickstarter

Soup at Spaulding is running an $8,000 kickstarter campaign for Heritage Works to support an intensive summer camp for eastside Detroit youth. Not many ways to better invest in human capital; check out Heritage Works' website, the campaign page and make a pledge. $5 has a much bigger impact online than it does in the mail. Totally broke? Throw down $1 if you want to have some serious out sized impact. The number of contributors is almost as important as the total raised.

Even if you can't pledge, send this around on facebook or twitter or whatever the kids are using these days.

Heritage Works was out at the West Willis Party yesterday, here's a video. The campaign is lagging a bit and could really use some pledges, link to the facebook event for it or the kickstarter page itself.
