    Default GORGIOUS!!!! A transparent Pontiac!!

This see-through Pontiac will make you think you have X-ray vision

Tom Joslin— Although it might look like a manipulated image at first glance, this unusual Pontiac is the real deal. The car was originally built by GM as one of two or three transparent display cars for the 1939 and 1940 World Fairs for $25,000 [[an astronomical sum at the time).
Now this Plexiglas bodied Pontiac is now getting ready to hit the auction block at RM's upcoming St John's sale in July. If you have dreams of making this impressive and rare Pontiac your own it shouldn't come as a huge surprise this strange automotive sculpture won't come cheap. RM has released a pre-auction estimate of $275,000 – $475,000.

    HOW COOL IS THAT!!!

It would be cool if the Henry Ford could pick it up & add it to their collection. Although, I don't think they have that kind of funding right now.

    More pictures.

This looks like a period picture.

Here it is at the 1939 Worldfair.

By contrast, here's a production version of the same car. Though this is a two door saloon.

...And here I thought this was going to be a thread about Pontiac, Mi.'
new status, as projected by the 'EFM', which is to say, A SEE THROUGH PONTIAC.
A City, he says, which "no loger exists."
    How does that work again?
You take a city [[second largest in Mi.)...and you simply .....dissolve it?
Sounds like quite a trick. Is Detroit next?
    Is there no shame.
Is this what Gov. Snyder visualizes?
It's a strange new world people.
