    Default Why Sarah quit

How much money does it take to hide incompetence?

On June 26 , 2009, – just weeks before the breathy quitty speech along side the squawking fowl, federal auditors notified Alaska officials that they were suspending new enrollment into the Alaskan Medicaid health program for the poor and the disabled due to gross mismanagement by the state.
Leading up to this unprecedented shut down of a state managed program [[which was funded 61% by the “feds”) over 250 people died waiting for assessment. Hundreds more did not receive treatment. Over eight lawsuits were filed against the state division before the shut-down. The Supreme court ruled that the state had improperly cut off or reduced services to more than 1,000 needy people. An additional 2,000 people were still waiting to be assessed at the time of the shut-down...

As we've all seen and experienced, it doesn't take smarts and competence to be a CEO. I mean, how did we get in the position we're in nationally and internationally? It sure wasn't you and I going to the casino. Palin is just another teevee celebrity. That alone qualifies her to be a BIP in our culture. A Big Impotent Person. I think she needs to name Lindsey Lohern as her VP running mate and Charlie WTF's his name as Secretary of State. The perfect slate.

In the words of the great Don King " Only in America !"

In a perverse sort of way I admire the way Sarah has been able to rise from nothing, with not a lot to work with other than her looks to become a multi-millionaire.

People need to understand the difference between someone who's a populist politican out to make peoples lives better, and the political entertainers like Sarah who's out to make a brand for herself and in the process make a lot of money under the guise of being a serious politican.

What always amazes me is how much people like Palin and Beck complain about where this country is headed, yet they've both become multi-millionaires since Obama took office. Almost seems kinda' ironic.
