This should be a wild discord indeed! I was 'approached' a few years ago by some of the "Son of man" members. I declined.

You can google about the "New" Nation of Islam to learn about their doctrine/ founder etc. This organization, like the "Nation of Islam" has little to do with world Islam and is not taken serious by Muslims.

heh-heh... I wonder how many splinter offshoots the NOI has created.. the five-percenter movement started in NYC, but there's no formal hierarchy, and there's two distinct NOI mosques in the Atlanta area that acknowledge Elijah Mohommed as their founder.. but one disavows farrakhan.. Then there's the Son of Man guy, who's based out of Mississippi I believe? When it comes to 88.1 FM, unless you live right next door to the station, does it even come in?

I don't know what 88.1 FM's range is... but I guess that's why they included a conference call # in the email they're sending out? I guess it's for all the ppl that aren't in the range of the station.
