The site for hourly employment lists no jobs, https://www.asitracker.com/tracker/ClientGeoSelect.aspx, Previous hirings have usually been on a referal basis and laid off workers get first shot at the jobs. It always make for good press to say you have created new jobs but they really already have an existing pool of workers lined up for them.

I don't know if things have changed but Fiat had only commited to keeping the plant open until 2012.

I'm curious if the wages any new jobs for brand new workers would be enough to actually live on, much less buy a Chrysler product?
