    Not starlite, the one I'm thinking of, was on the north side of Mi. avenue. Starlite was on the southside.

    People's Restaurant was located on the south side of Michigan Avenue between Livernois and the first block west of Livernois. They served polish food. Does anyone remember when it closed?

    Such a cool place for lunch. In the basement of a house. Potato cabbage soup was best I ever had. A favorite for cops.
