Study Club Fire on 9/20/1929 where was it on East Vernor?

I was looking at Wikipedia today and there was a page about the Beverly Hill Club fire in Kentucky that happened on this date in 1977. A list of other night club fires were at the bottom, and one was the Study Club fire.

I was wondering if anyone knew where this was located on East Vernor and/or had any new info.

According to the Detroit News Archives it was located at 65 E. Vernor I think it was which would put it near downtown . Here's a photo #7 or # 8

65 E. Vernor would have been between Woodward and John R. The Fisher Fwy. [[I-75) has been there since the late '60s.
