Default Jewish Voices for Peace on Obama's humiliation

Do Americans have no pride? How can they allow the head of a foreign state to humiliate their President?. Although our new Canadian PM is more pro-Israeli than Obama, and it is increasingly common for our elected officials to have to swear allegiance to Israel, I don't think that we are yet at this disgraceful level of subservience to Israel.

Our "head" is wrong about Israel and its borders. Why should Netanyahu bow down to what is bad for his country and people? Our President needs some humilaty when it comes to Israel, and why not, in the days ahead, when Jesus returns, Israel will be the head of the nations and all nations will serve Israel. So the best thing for our leader is to start serving Israel now, maybe we will be blessed.

According to many radical Protestant's beliefs is that all Jews will be cast into Hell, so just who exactly will be left in Israel?

The Ten Commandments of Arab Lies

    1. The "Palestinian People" have an historic connection to the land.

This is very interesting since there is no such thing as a "Palestinian People". When the Romans changed the name of Israel to Palestine, the people living there at the time were Jews, not Arabs. If there had been a "Palestinian People", which there never was, they would have been Jews.
    2. The Palestinian People have been in the land from time immemorial.

For centuries pre-Israel Palestine was a forgotten, desolate wasteland inhabited by a remnant of Jews, along with some Christians and wandering Bedouins who certainly had no thought of a national identity of any kind.
    3. There were no Jews in Palestine until Israel became a state in 1948.

The Romans officially banished the Jews from Israel [[Palestine) in 135 CE. However, historical records show there was always a Jewish presence in the land. While many were scattered, other Jews simply moved out of harm's way until a less hostile power ruled the land. Jews were returning to what is now Israel well before 1948. Many left Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917.
    4. Arabs and Jews lived in harmony before Israel became a state.

Throughout the centuries, Jews as well as Christians, living under Islamic rule suffered persecution and humiliation, the intensity of which was determined by the character of a particular Moslem ruler. As second-class citizens, there was never a "good time" for non-Muslims living under Islamic rule. Because of the way that most Islamic countries look down on non-Muslims, they are always considered second-class citizens and less than equal. Arabs have rarely lived in harmony with anyone if they were the majority.
    5. The returning Jews displaced the Palestinian Arabs

The ancestors of most of the present-day Arab population migrated to the land after Jewish pioneers began to reclaim the land. They came from many different countries and were not original inhabitants of the land.
    6. The Jews stole Arab land

Jews returning to the land settled on unclaimed, unoccupied land or bought land from absentee Arab landowners at outrageously high prices. This is a matter of record.
    7. The Jews forced Arabs to flee Palestine

When Israel was declared a state in 1948, leaders from the surrounding Arab countries declared war on Israel and instructed the Arab civilians living in the land to flee until the Jews were annihilated. Israeli leaders, to no avail, urged the Arabs to stay. Property that they owned was abandoned.
    8. The Jews caused the Arab refugee problem

If Arab countries would assimilate and care for the "Palestinian" refugees, as Israel did for their Jewish refugees, there would be no refugee problem. Instead they use the refugees as political pawns in their struggle against Israel. No Arab country that wants "Palestinian Arabs" in their country as they would rather use the "Palestinian Arabs" as pawns rather than assimilate them into their populations and bring peace to the Middle East.
    9. Israel is the aggressor against defenseless Palestinians

In its brief history, Israel has had one war after another and each time they are blamed as the aggressor. The Arabs do not recognize the right of Israel to exist and are in a constant state of hostility against Israel. Their aim is to destroy Israel.
    10. Jerusalem is holy to Muslims

While Jerusalem is mentioned over eight hundred times in the Bible, it is not mentioned one time in the Koran. Muslims have had little or no interest in Jerusalem until the Jewish presence in modern times.

Muslim countries produce very little, if anything, in terms of high technology as compared to the Western World. The high standard of living they have is due to Western Culture and the oil rich land they have. The world runs on oil and they happen to control one of the many supplies, which they often hire Westerners to build, operate, and maintain. They produce no airplanes, automobiles, computers, medical, or scientific advancements. They produce little to nothing that advances civilization and mankind. They send their students around the world to Western Universities for higher education. They import most of their food. The only thing they produce in abundance is Islam. Without the "Infidels" providing all of the high technology they use in their everyday lives, they would live a pretty meager existence.

Do you think that Jesus feels oppression is the "way" .. in judiasm there is a saying "what is hurtful to you shouldnt be done to others" in Christianity it is do unto others as you do unto yourself.. while Israelis are not all in the same camp as bibi, oppression is the roost of the conflict.. and to expect peace you have to act peacefully.. LB oppression is not a biblical attribute..

your racist lies are why people disconnect from this conflct...

    a) early Zionist [[1891) asher Ginsberg while visiting Palestine comments that they were told that Palestine was a waiste land but he found all land cultivated say.. sand dunes and rocky cliffs.. Max Nordau stated "he never realized that we were committing this level injustice...

    b) The land without people for a people without land [[Weizman) was a ploy to increase the immigration of European Jews [[after suffering hundres of years of hate)... this was a "slogan" .. and was marketed well.. truth is that 90% of Palestine was non Jewish [[Ron David_Jewish Historian)

    c) King Crane Report [[1919) reported back to Wilson that the 90% of the indigenous people did not want a colonial state. One qoute " you cant make a Jewish state without encrounching on the rights of the non Jewsih inhabitants.

I would defeat all you lies but I have little time or energy..but to say this ... you will have blood one your hands in regards to Israeli unless you recognize that both people have suffered.. but as we blindly support the Right wingers in Christinian Zionist or Right wing Jewish Zionist we perpetuate hate and destruction.. I would rather support the truth and Israel's peace camps as well as those who seek a peaceful co-existence.. I challenge you twisted logic to tell me how Jesus would view this destruction of his people for the rights of realestate.. as far as Muslims not contributing to the preservation of culture while your ancsetors were burning books and libraries if not for the muslims and their advanced systems of medicine and sciece we wouldnt have what exists today..

So what you are saying then is that Jews and Christians are superior - a Master Race so to speak and so that justifies any human rights abuses that Israelis and western countries might want to inflict on Muslim and Arab nations for our own economic advantage.

Technology may have provided creature comforts, but it has also caused nearly all of the pollution and health problems.

Perhaps you have forgotten that the Arab world was highly advanced and civilized centuries before most other places?

Due to western technology and pollution we're all living much longer lives than was lived when the Arab world was highly advanced and civilized - even the Arabs and they didn't develop any of it.

Your "10 Commandments or Arab Lies" are a great summary of Zionist propaganda. For example:
Jews returning to the land settled on unclaimed, unoccupied land or bought land from absentee Arab landowners at outrageously high prices. This is a matter of record.

The Jews that created Israel were European Jews. The Jews living in Palestine were Arabs who had been there since time immemorial. Over the centuries some of them converted to Christianity and some to Islam. They lived pretty much in peace with each other - certainly as peacefully as the white Christians of Europe who fought numerous wars among each other over the centuries. The problems started when the Zionist movement decided to create a Jewish state in Palestine and populate it with Jews from Europe. They did buy some land legally but when the UN General Assembly approved the Partition of Palestine in November 1947 the Zionist forces immediately started to expel Palestinians even though the partition was was to take effect 2 months after the withdrawal of Britain which was scheduled for May 15, 1948. The Partition plan specified that Jews were not to be expelled from lands designated for the Arabs and vise versa. Beginning immediately after passage of the Partition Plan, Jewish forces seized large portions of the proposed Arab state and expelled about 350,000 Palestinians from both the proposed Jewish state and the proposed Arab state. Surrounding Arab nations attacked Israel to stem the tide of refugees. In all, 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from the homes without compensation in 1948. Their banks accounts and cars were confiscated for use by the Jewish forces and many died in the forced march that ensued.

A vibrant Israel is a reasonable goal.. to obtain it we must work towards peace and reconciliation... we must recognize that people are equal and that both narratives have to be understood but Truth should be the foundation.. we know the grievous wrongs have been committed in the name of nationalism in this conflict and the extremist of both sides do not represent the majority of the people. Jewish values of Tikkun Olam are as wonderful as you get... and the real hospitality their counsins poccess is equally as human.. the BIBI and Arafats of others of the world do not understand this and they are engulfed in the past.. it is our job to help push them closer to peace..

unfortunately our cowardly bought congress just reinforced the status quo..and in doing so protracted this conflict and oppression.. thanks to the AIPAC and Likude supporters we will see this continued to be played out in our politics.. and thanks to the failure to recognize Israel is not going anywhere Hamas is playing their games and doing so right into the hands of the Shas and Likudites...and the right wingers here.. we need to lift our support to the peace camps and write our president and stand behind a new approach..not the continued one we have engaged in..
