Rolling Stone mag has done it again. An outstanding analysis of how its Roger Ailes we should be fearful of and not Rupert Murdock as Fox News continues to capture the hearts and minds of the Repub faithful.

Very interesting article, and one I suspect Roger Ailes would really enjoy. It does fit with my image of Fox. I was very surprised to hear how the kernel idea started in the early 70s. It was a kind of backlash time. In the late 60s we had That Was the Week That Was, a very liberal news and humor program. It was too hot for the networks and got taken off the air. This was during the early part of Ailes's story, must have driven him nuts and maybe provided him with the seeds of dissent that drove him to create the right wing brain meld.

Great article about the greatest right wing propaganda minister since Goebbels.

Rolling Stone seems to be a dinosaur in terms of covering the music industry, with its' tired stories about aging rock stars, but every issue has one really good piece of old fashioned investigative journalism.
They are practically giving away subscriptions on Amazon, so one get the print edition for a dollar.
The one ray of hope in this story is the demographics; the average age of the average Fox viewer is somewhere between Viagra and 6 feet under.
