A local illusionist says he's about to astonish people by making a famous landmark in Detroit disappear. He's calling it 'Detroit's Mega Illusion.'

Aaron Balcom claims he can make the Michigan Central Train Station disappear before your very eyes and says you can see it for free on May 25.

This guy needs to make himself disappear. This bit was done 20 years ago and anyone with internet access or even a lit bit of intelligence gets it.

I think I stopped like magic tricks when I turned ten years old.

I'm more impressed by someone who holds up two fingers on one hand, bumps their hands together and makes the fingers go to the other hand.

I find it embarrassing that a so-called news station would even cover this. It's embarrassing, but certianly not surprising.

He will earn my respect if he succeeds in doing so in daytime.

The event will be free, but Balcom says you won't be able to view the illusion from just anywhere.

He got a ton of media attention by just saying he was going to attempt a bit that was 30 years old.

I was thinking he was going to do it in the Detroit fashion and implode the building. Big curtain goes up, it's there, big explosions, curtain down and all that remains is a big pile of smoking rubble. Thought people have been making buildings disappear in Detroit for decades?
