    Default Incredible silent movie of the Tsjernobyl disaster !

    This is footage of the first few days after the diaster took place. It was uploaded some time ago but still very fascinating stuff.

    I saw a doc on Chernobyl last year or so. What a tragedy. And people were still living there.

    Incredible. I went through much of the info posted on CNN commemorating the anniversary of the disaster. Yes, people are still living in there. I was shocked to learn the nuclear plant is still in operation with people working there in the areas where the blast didn't hit. I thought the whole thing had been shut down after the accident, but I was wrong.
