Tony was a nice guy. A good looking, well dressed, quiet guy who was never loud or pushy. It shocked me when i found out that he had died. His sister took over the club immediately after that .
Club Manchester and The Tender Trap were actually pretty nice clubs. But the surrounding area was never the best.
Benson's was a dump. Right near the railroad tracks, But they were all fun in their own way .

They were all over back in the day. They carried awesome gear and had excellent listening rooms.

Never had 'em at Kresge [[although I was there). Years later I had them at Kmart and enjoyed them. Always inexpensive. The Kresge days were great!
