Check it out, Manuel is considered a fret legend.
I see Lowell George died 10 years ago from a heart attack. I didn't know that. That was a great band. The last time I saw them, I was sitting on a stoop with a girl I knew in Madison. Some guy came walking along and asked us if we wanted 2 tickets to see Little Feat, but the show started in about fifteen minutes. I said yes, we walked about 6 blocks to the show and the seats turned out to be in the 3rd row center.
Lowell George died 20 years ago, dude. I was at his house in Topanga Canyon back in 83' and met his widow.
Wait, 1979, I guess that's 30 years. I barely remember Topanga Canyon. I believe I was there with Gus or Neil, or Gus and Neil or maybe Gus Neil and Penny. Anyway, word on the street is that he died June 29th, 1979. I was close.
My bad, right, 30 years ago, I knew it had been a while.
Little Feet....'Dixie Chicken....Missin You' ...great tunes.....Ry Cooder has an albumn out recently....My fav albumn of his "Bop Til You Drop"...had 'Little Sister' on it and a bunch of others that my memory will not search for at the moment.....I promise every on Free Beer Tomorrow.....take that to the bank.......'I Got Stoned and I Missed It'.........by.........?

Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show. Shel Silverstein.
Gary, I don't know if you're familiar with Boz Scaggs 1994 CD "Some Changes." I love it. It's got to be some of his best work. Sierra, and Lost It are two greats from it. By the way, he's playing in Detroit, Wednesday, June 17th at The Motor City Casino.
This is Sierra.

Glmn...LoonPanics?! I like the looks of those guys. Nice wrist thingy.
Ry Cooder just did a gig out here in Santa Monica.
Note from a 35 year study: beer does NOT have to be in front of you to get drinked [[i.e. horizontal=alongside).
Boz Scaggs' "Breakdown" has Steve Luthaker [[Toto) on lead. OMG
..about the LoonPanics...the other guy with the Strat was John Marsh...great singer..could sing "Wicked Games" like the record and sound like Roy Orbison when he wanted too...the bassist made that 5-string bass...
\was Luthaker the guy who played the lead in "Rosanna" by Toto ?
Luthaker was the lead/all around/whatever it took guitar player for Toto. Great little band.! All really, really good musicians. They were all the top LA studio cats who just decided to form a band and make their own records.

Must have been back when they were in a blues band. I've never seen Larry in a pair of pants that were that conservative.
yah and what about those glasses - like the Beav ? are those glasses like the Beavers ? and with a bandaid around the middle?
oh man, from Margies kiss [[which I play games with - you know, look at it then close your eyes right when the kiss at the end-and then you get the negative image in your BRAIN) oh well, its fun to be strange ...and then from Margies psyckadelic kiss to Stnfrts friggin beaver glasses...I'm like...
NO, gash, I'm not smoking no hemp, no O.G., no beers and shots of Patron... just an ordinary day of life around the blog...
I just want to know if I won anything with my Dr. Hook guess so I can go home. But now I see Gash left.
