Many of today’s progressives define their movement by commitment to a specific menu of policies, and those who don’t share this very specific set of goals are easily read out of the progressive movement, typecast as “neoliberals” or “corporate liberals.” This kind of rigidity is something that their progressive forerunners never exhibited.

The Progressive Movement of the early 1900s was successful precisely because it was flexible, and incorporated a wide range of views—so much so that the movement defies easy definition.

Progressives understand that all levels of government, in our democratic republic, have a MORAL responsibility to use our commonwealth in ways that protect and empower ALL of us EQUALLY.

Such an understanding leads to legitimate discussion of can the government do to carry out that mandate.

In doing so, the discussion will focus on which government agencies are capable to effectively and efficiently carrying out their protection and empowerment functions.

Progressives should follow thier own manta and do forced sterilization on themselves so they cannot re-produce.

Such programs included both positivemeasures, such as encouraging individuals deemed particularly "fit" to reproduce, and negative measures, such as marriage prohibitions and forced sterilization of people deemed unfit for reproduction. Those deemed "unfit to reproduce" often included people with mental or physical disabilities, people who scored in the low ranges on different IQ tests, criminals and "deviants," and members of disfavored minority groups.

KGB files show that Wallace told Gorsky that he wanted to share the secrets of the a-bomb with the Soviets, complained that Truman was being influenced by an “anti-Soviet group” in government that wanted the Anglo-Saxon bloc to have dominance in the world, and that he hoped that the Soviet Union could help Wallace’s “smaller group significantly.”
For a member of the President’s Cabinet asking the Soviets to intervene to help his side win an internal battle within the administration was more than indiscreet. It was the action of a willing tool of Moscow.

Thats okay,I understand that you have already been through the brainwashing period,but that’s Canada’s choice.

In this country it is give me liberty or give me death,that form of we will do your thinking for you and you need to comply or we will find a way to make you see the light,because we know what is best for you.

What does it say that sense the 1800s and outside of Canada that form of government has not been excepted in this country,China,Cuba,Venezuela,etc have all implemented and the population has excepted that way of life because of the generational conditioning and those who have never experienced freedom of self thought do not know what it is like.Everybody is equally poor and you work the hours as you are told to,there is no 9-5 or labor laws or freedom of self thought,you cannot control the population unless they succumb.

The past Soviet Union is no longer after it failed and it’s people got a taste of freedom.

Thousands are trying to gain entry to this country for what it is and not to what the progressives want it to be,they are fleeing that mindset.

If you have missed opportunity in this country it is because you did not reach for it,some feel that it is thier duty to hand it out so they can become the power in control.

It is not just me,it is generations of true Americans that have fought for those freedoms and to preserve that way of life,if nobody agreed with me then we would already be living in government flats years ago,that’s not the road we are going down.

The problem with progressives is they come up with all of these latest fads that if we do not change the world will end,so laws are implemented while they campaign for less government and costs rise to pay for it.

The progressives have not learned anything from the past but seem to enjoy the same rights and freedoms that every other American does that they want to remove.

They also have the right to move to China or Canada etc where they will find similar like minded individuals and enjoy thier life instead of wasting thier life and our money trying to change this country into something that it will never be.

They do have groups all over the world and they create the violence and divisions that they do here,they seem to like to use violence and different measures when they do not get thier way.

Commies,socialists,progressives they are all the same they just tweak names to make it sound better.

Outside of that maybe they are good folk when they are in thier element,it is just that element looks a lot better when it is 10,000 miles away.

Part of thier mission is to bring the jobs back to this country,funny thing is that it also a priority with the current administration so you would think that he would have thier support,but he does not and they want to impeach him.

That tells you right there they have nothing to do with what is in the best interest of the country.

It'll be interesting to see such a mandate attained considering that governments usually do so by picking winners and losers [[based on votes) with little care for personal agency or self-determination. Will something change? How are we're to expect 'progress' beyond, really? Further, who determines equality: baseline, below or excellent in achievement/ values?

How shall equality be achieved considering such a current disparate mean?

Equality [[as the new supreme morale/ orthodoxy) for all can mean for some that I work hard, make sacrifices, plan, make better choices etc. and you do the opposite [[yet my declared equal) come and take it with great aplomb as after all, we're all the same. What? No, that's not a noble standard.

In all fairness prison reform was started under the Obama administration,the Reagan administration started it with the war on drugs and the supplement of fed money to the states as a form of encouragement.

Reagans response was because of the public outcry from the crack and gang related violence that was a result of.

So the progressives call for prison reform but when it is time to step up to the plate,because they do not like who the current president is they show no support.

The reforms were passed by conservative Democrats and Republicans working in a bipartisan way to solve an issue,which is the way the two party system works.

Progressives want to remove the two party system and the college electoral vote,or basically a one party dictatorship system.

With out the balance of a two party system that is what you end up with.

We the people demanded the government respond to the crime issues because our cities were being devastated by the cocaine and crack aspect that was actually started by declaring a war on drugs.

We the people just did not follow up on the methods applied after the demand,crime was actually in the decline before that.

People in government want to stay in power and are motivated by our demands,we cannot always make demands without fully understanding the consequences of actions, then blame the government when we do not like the consequences.

Perfect example of

Open borders,encourage thousands to storm the border without preparing for the influx then show outrage because of the consequences.

That is the problem with emotional knee jerk reactions of the progressives,it is the people that suffer in the wake.
