I got tipped off to this by someone today.

Former Sterling Heights City Manager Steve Duchane is applying to become the city manager in Eastpointe.

Unreliable workers deserve to get replaced. If someone cant show up and do their job, then they should not complain about being replaced. If someone don't like their salary or working conditions, then quit the job and find a new one.

What workers have you known that get paid for NOT showing up? Maybe some sick days used, or maybe some, [[according to you), do sloppy work, but paid no shows?

The worker can't win for losing, nowadays.

At my last job I didn't like the way I was treated and felt I wasn't paid enough. What did I do? I applied for job after job. It took six months but I was able to find a new job for a company I love to work for.

My current company treats me so well I have never thought about leaving. As a reward, they get my loyal hard work.

A friend of mine works for a small city in New Jersey. They got a new park built by jobs bank guys, who did a wonderful job and saved the city a million dollars. But nobody wants to hear about that, they want to hear about your lazy ass in laws screwing the dog.

Each UAW local was contractually responsible for finding qualifying off-site projects for their jobs bank personnel to work on. If any jobs bank guys were sitting around in "rubber rooms" doing nothing, it was because of the "lazy ass" local union officials.

So persons only options si to quit their jobs or let the company treat them as they please. What all the more ironic that the things you probably enjoy at your job like health care, vacations time etc is because people other people didn't take that approach.
