Bessmore/Bellmore Ave?

One if my ancestors lived at this address, which I cannot find. Any ideas?

Bessemore St: East side, off of Gratiot, a couple blocks north of Harper and runs between Gratiot and Erwin

Also, Detroit streets were renumbered 1920-1921.
