Another legendary Detroit politician dies. Though I don't think you'll hear anyone compare Currie in the same light as, say, "Mother" Erma Henderson.

A politician who overstayed her welcome by quite a few years, but that's really all I can say. I've never been very good at speaking ill of many of the dead.
