Right you are Detroitej72.... lets hope that the "deferred maintenance" policy of the city on 1300 Beaubien... doesn't nearly ruin this building as well. At least MGM spent 1/4 billion on it... at that price, one would guess that the infrastructure was fixed up... so that it will last thru quite a bit more deferred maintenance...Quote:

I once tried to take a picture of the old IRS building but it was so ugly my camera broke in protest.
There were a couple of levels of open parking under a dark brick building.... I don't even like to think about it it was that ugly... Now I am going to have City Planner/Architect nightmares.
