Another Detroit Building Age Map

Remember this last year?

SEMCOG has just posted a similar map, but with differences.

• This map covers not just the city proper but every building in southeastern Michigan.
• Unlike the other map only an unknown amount of buildings have defined ages. For example, my current house in Wyandotte was built in 1929 but on the SEMCOG age map it's listed as "0". However, in most cases of those with ages, these are accurate, even those with incorrect dates on the other map-the other map lists the Rosa Parks Transit Center as having been built in 1987, but the SEMCOG map lists it as being built in 2009.
• Buildings built after April 2010, such as the Z Building, are not listed.
