Michigan’s Freshwater Seas: Powering Progress at MCC Lorenzo Cultural Center

The Lorenzo Cultural Center at Macomb Community College, located at M-59 and Garfield Rd., opened their new Michigan's Freshwater Seas exhibit on February 19. It runs through April 8.

Free admission. Exhibit Hours: Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday: 10am–4pm & Wednesday: 10am-8pm

"Michigan’s Freshwater Seas exhibit will include models of vessels significant to Michigan’s past, relics from vessels that sailed the lakes long ago, and much more! In partnership with the Detroit Historical Museum, Port Huron Museum, other local museums and private collectors, the display will be sure to capture the imagination and create an atmosphere of nautical nostalgia!"

The exhibit is accompanied by a full complement of programs ranging from talks to theatrical presentations.
