That's great news.
The poll was eventually rigged by hackers from FARK.com, causing the huge surge in Detroit votes. I am not quite sure why MTV decided to post the poll when it sounded like they had chosen Miami to begin with.
They accomplished their mission -- drawing attention to their obscure TV show. Now even I know it exists.
