Another October "Surprise" in the offing?

With poll numbers not looking very promising and Pres. B.O. and the rest of the democratic "leadership" admonishing their base, an interesting items popped up on the news this week.

What passes for security here in America is reporting about possible new terrorist threats overseas and here at home.

That same "security" is issuing "no comment" when pressed to discuss specifics.

Just this week DHS, TSA & DOT are performing "security sweeps" along the interstate down in Georgia.

In an ironic display of timing, Pres. B.O. last week demonstrated how far he can ram his cranium into his anal database when it was reported he said, "We can absorb a terrorist attack."

I'm reminded of an FDR quote that is sounding more and more prophetic, "In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."

What say you, regarding this?

Is this being done to help bolster democratic candidates in 2010?

no. that is all the reply that stupidity is worth, but too short for the system

Maybe they should raise the terror alerts every few days leading up to the elections ?
If it worked before, to a party's advantage, then it can work again.
