For the past 7 years I have put out a limited print calendar of Detroit photos pre 1955.

Most of the images come from private collections and have never been published before. Also, there are over 250 dates noting events in Detroit's history throughout.

The 'Detroit room' looks really interesting in the photos, so much rare memorabilia. Is it your shop or a private residence?

It is [[was) at my residence. We've recently been forced to move from the city due to long term drug activity next door that resulted in break ins and their garage burning down and damaging my property. We moved up to northern MI in order to help my folks as they ease into retirement and sell their business. So now the majority of what you see is carefully stored in 100+ boxes. We do plan on opening a retail store near Traverse City where these items will be on display. I generally don't sell any of my collection unless I have duplicates, but I do trade for items and am always happy to rescue anything that may otherwise be forgotten or disposed of.
