Unaware that Sean Blackman was presenting the World Through Music at the DIA, as listed above, we made plans to spend the weekend at the Port Sanilac Blues Festval. A free event in a beautiful Lake Huron shore setting. Mr. Blackman is a superb musician, among the best in Detroit, and I recommend that forum members consider visiting DIA for the show.

[[14) In Warren, but not far, this is a Thai Temple Sunday Market week at Midwest Buddhist Meditation Center. Timing basically coincides with Sunday brunch [[though no alcohol). The Belle Isle Art Fair was wrth the trip, IMO.
