Looks like the Foundation Hotel is finally gaining some momentum. The COBO-area boutique hotel has posted jobs for their "pre-opening team," including controller, director of human resources, and general manager:

The posting also states that the hotel will include a rooftop ballroom, and a "podcast studio" as an amenity... pretty cool. :p
Not to derail the thread but I have a question: Why do so many people who post on this site refer to Cobo Hall as COBO? In other words why do so many people capitalize each letter in the name Cobo. It is not an acronym. It is the name of a former mayor of Detroit.
Maybe because of this:
