ADULT LEARN TO ROW 2012
Learn To Row is our introductory class in the sport ofrowing. This class focuses primarily upon technique rather than athleticability and is designed for adult men and women of all ages and abilities withno previous rowing experience. The class covers the basics of team rowing,water and land safety, proper rowing technique and terminology, and buildingstrong crews through teamwork.
Rowing is perfect for those looking for an engaging sportwith which to become more physically active. Rowing exercises all of the majormuscle groups. Its smooth, rhythmic motions offer non-impact aerobic andmuscular conditioning, with improved balance and flexibility.
Either morning and evening classes are available:There are 14 class meetings scheduled.

• Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:15pm to 8:00, June 6th to July 30th [[no class held on June 25th or on July 4th).
• Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 7:00am to 8:45, June 5th to July 19th.

All classes are taught by highly skilled Detroit Boat ClubCrew coaches at our historic boathouse on Belle Isle.
Cost: $250, which includes membership in Friends ofDetroit Rowing.
