Can someone provide me with a thumbnail history of the Solvay Co. in Delray? I didn't find much after a Google search and I'm hoping someone here can save me a trip through the City Directories. I see the company [[Solvay Process Co.) started in Delray in 1897. In 1920 it was absorbed by Allied Chemical & Dye Corp which in term became Allied Chemical Co. in 1958. But it seems it still went by the "Solvay" name, at least locally--correct? When did the plant close?--Jeff
