Fantastic news. Not only is Gilbert saving a very important and historic building in Detroit, but it will be put to good use, unlike the previous owners.
This is a place I could see myself living in hopefully in the future.
Now, what would be the best retail option here?
There's no real shopping on Lafayette, just a few restaurants - Lafayette/American and nothing until the Round Bar at Fort Shelby.
Wondering if that building could ever be used for news media purposes? :rolleyes: Maybe Gilbert could considering moving his PR department there.
