I came across this quiz on Sporcle that shows pretty clearly the shift from innermost suburbs like Hamtramck to inner ring suburbs like Roseville and Warren to outermost sprawlers like Troy and Shelby. A bit surprised none of the Grosse Points show up, but they are pretty small individually. Also, look at the size of number ten explode from 1950 [[20,549) to 1970 [[70,020).

No, the bonus one was hidden, and you don't get any points for getting it. It's not strictly speaking part of the metro Detroit area, but it's geographically pretty darn close in any case.Quote:
