Interesting that this unused building is suddenly being used again, is this a clue?

I still remember Shawn Santos and her little store on Woodward [[entrance from street and from the Whitney Building. When I visited, the building's power was already off, and Shawn was working almost without power [[I don't recall or not if she had a small generator supplying her with power).

Don't forget, investors are still planning on turning the building into a hotel.
