Concours d'Elegance to leave Meadowbrook Hall

Plymouth Township -- After more than 30 years at Meadow Brook Hall, the prestigious Concours d'Elegance of America next year is moving to the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth Township.
Concourse Chairman Peter Heydon said the move is needed because the show now requires an on-site hotel with conference facilities designed for large events.
"We will dearly miss the hall, but many of our exhibitors and sponsors have looked for us to make such a change as this for some time," Heydon said.

St. John's is really nice but doesn't have the beauty and elegance of Meadowbrook Hall. Not to sound alarmist but this makes me wonder about the future of Meadowbrook Hall. i know that the place is very expensive to maintain and OU, like most colleges, is short in funds.
