Since I couldn't afford to build a really nice bar top, I got creative and used some leftover paint, masking tape, Sharpies and some clear coat............

I went off of an 1889 map of the downtown area and layed out the grid with rulers and painters tape. I painted the streets and background, then wrote out the names. Clear coated it twice and now I have a 17' map!!

Of course you know some real bars are going to want to buy that from you or commission you to do a similar custom bar for them. You may have started a new business here. Add some toy car coasters. Imagine all the nondescript linoleum bars out there in need of being tricked out. ;)
