A Detroit legend has passed, always on the side of justice and opportunity for the disadvantaged. RIP.
Indeed! What a long life, lived!
My folks and I ran into her many times over here on the east side, always fighting the good fight, often against huge and intractable odds. She was always analyzing the world around her.
She never lost her belief that change was possible, and, more than that, could be effected with enough passion behind it.
