...is the headline of a lengthy, positive and well written article about the City of Detroit. The article is rich in its depth of detail covering a long list of accomplishments.

While the article is upbeat throughout, the author did not flinch at mentioning the trials of our past decline or the ongoing issues of a city in crisis outside the bounds the good things - poverty, crime, budgetary issue and public service reductions.

Amazingly, considering this is a travel industry [American Airlines] publication, the word casino is never mentioned.

Thanks for posting the link to the article. While the author characterizes a few things in slightly inaccurate ways, the article is generally very well done and excellent for a travel magazine.
