I am one of the 100 semi-finalists for the Youtube Nextup Contest. [[which is an amazing feat in and of itself) If i get into the top 50 people i move onto the next round.

Now you may be wondering what is the Youtube Nextup Contest.
In short it's a contest for Youtube Partners with under 300,000 subcribers. Up to 25 winners will recieve $35,000, a trip to NYC to go to the Youtube Creators Camp and promotion on youtube [[to help partners videos gain more views and revenue from their content)

The idea I pitched [[which you can see in the video) is about giving downtrodden women makeup overs in Detroit AND helping them get back on their feet. I plan to do this through teaming up with local charities. Also to create the typle of videos I want to share I will need help from locals including models. Winning $35,000 and being able to increase my revenue share will make it possible for me to do these things.
