Fire at Book Cadillac

The 3-story addition to the Building, which fronts State Street and Washington Boulevard is on fire, but the fire is currently being addressed by the Detroit Fire Department.

Wow. I thought those expensive ducted exhaust systems were supposed to have automatic suppression of any fire. That was the whole reason they were forced upon all the restaurants downtown...to avoid precisely this type of event.
