Ems workers in trouble

Just plain old nitpicking on the City's part. They would rather harass these two guys than address the real problem. Go get 'em Bing...his shirttail was not tucked in and he was smoking....but when EMS can't respond in a timely fashion, blame them for that, too.

Standard M.O. for the city of Detroit. Don't like the message? Shoot the messenger. Sometimes the truth hurts. It is too bad that this man's career has to suffer for him simply telling the truth and caring about the people he serves.

Smoking a cigarette is a legitimate issue, whether or not it's receiving attention as payback for the whistle blowing. As for the rest, it sounds like they have legitimate reasons for loading the patient into the ambulance upright [[the first complaint, because her back hurt), and the guy's shirt being untucked, well, it is a pretty minor offense [[this isn't Domino's, the branding reflected by the organization's employee's dress is not a paramount concern). It's clearly punishment for blowing the whistle.
I certainly hope they had the foresight to see that this would not be a surprising development, and have their ducks in a row.

Newsflash: City Council declares every man/woman/child for his or herself, then flees to Canada.

Seems like it's already happened. They only stay to collect their pay.
There's a reason why more people don't blow the whistle and this is why.
Paybacks are a bitch.
