Avard T. Fairbanks was the sculptor responsible for the Dodge Ram, which didn't make the cut in the Awesome Hood Ornaments articles, but some of his other designs or variations thereof were included.

The Gilmore Museum, in Hickory Corners outside Kalamazoo, has a pretty spectacular exhibit of hundreds of classic hood ornaments. It was featured on an episode of Antiques Roadshow.
