Is this in large part because the economy has remained strong and the stock markets are high?

Is some of it that Wayne's stature continues to rise as Midtown Detroit's stature continues to rise?

Both?

Something else?

Of course that 'something else' could have been a single big gift of 40M which turned a good fundraising year into a record setting one.

Nevertheless, WSU has raised almost 600M in their fundraising campaign.
