Platinum Equity to Move HQ to Detroit

I cannot believe that this was missed by this forum. Tom Gores, the Pistons owner, is in talks to move the corporate HQ of his company, Platinum Equity, from Beverly Hills, CA to Detroit. The number of jobs being speculated on is about 500.

Should be a good move, as a lot of their business is in the Midwest, and costs are a lot lower here.

At least no one can complain that the city is robbing the suburbs on this one.

I was hoping he'd move on so we could get a better owner for the Pistons. He [[but mostly the widow Davidson) have been beyond shitty.
