I agree. Pelosi basically said the same thing, that now, winning the House, they were REALLY going to investigate Trump, because that's what the American people wanted. I think not.

It was "stolen" now? And she was given the answer, not the question? She was given a question in advance, she didn't "steal an answer." I mean, Jesus Christ, even on a point you can legitimately criticize her on you can't help but embellish it with outright lies. Why not just stick to the actual offense?
DNC changed their nominating rules for 2020 such that Superdelegates cannot vote on the first round of balloting and only get to weigh in if no candidate clinches enough delegates to secure the nomination outright. Does getting rid of the superdelegates benefit:
A) Bernie Sanders
OR
B) Establishment candidates.
Meanwhile, in South Carolina, the State GOP decided to get rid of the GOP Primary in 2020 entirely and just outright endorse Trump with zero input from the electorate.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Illegal Immigrants Act More American Than Citizens Trying To Keep Them Out
Got to love the generalization - hah! As the teens say I think she's being a bit 'EXTRA'!
1. How'd those not condoning illegal immigration become so condemned/ assessed?
2. What IS Ocasio-Cortez's real agenda with such statements? Just a message to Trump?
[[See video and article) https://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi..._them_out.html
CNN has already jumped on Tulsi Gabbard because in 2002 she only supported heterosexual marriages. How can anyone win the Democratic primary with such a thing on their record even though she has apologized for her former un-PC stance? Tulsi Gabbard's anti-war record isn't as big of a deal with Democrats. Tulsi lost a lot of Party support when she had the audacity to talk to Assad instead of kowtowing to more accepted neocon policies.
I continue to think that a Tulsi Gabbard/Bernie Sanders ticket is the best choice for Democrats with Bernie as VP. Bernie is too old to run for President but he would bring moral gravitas to the Tulsi Gabbard ticket.
Did CNN ever attack Clinton for being late to the party on gay rights? I don't remember. Probably not. Like with Bernie the mass media will be looking for anything to smear Tulsi with.

Within days of Tulsi Gabbard announcing her plan to run for president last week, a smear campaign moved into high gear. It’s almost as if there’s a coordinated, orchestrated campaign to derail her as so called progressive medial outlets have unleashed a torrent of attacks.
Yep, Here it comes... I told you months ago she's going to be a force to be reckoned with. Both Dems and Reps are afraid. The Dem Party is going through some changes. The new Dems don't agree with or want the old guard in power. That became evident with the push-back against Pelosi becoming Minor Lead. I was really hoping someone from the Dem side would run against her, but no one stepped up to the plate. I guess that was to show everyone Dem "unification".
The new ones are already setting the stage for the take over.
Waters,Talib and Cortez are now in the House finance committee along with 3 other like minded.
The influential committee oversees the banking and insurance industries, public and private housing, and urban development among other matters.
Control the funding and you control the politics.
Ocasio-Cortez strongly believes in wealth redistribution. She has called for a return of the top tax rate to 70 percent from its current 37 percent. The top rate prior to the Republican tax law, passed in December 2017, had been 39.6 percent.
The liberal lawmaker wants to launch new federal entitlement programs, including Medicare for all, “housing as a human right,” federal jobs guarantee and tuition-free public college.
I am thinking that about this time with corporations seeing the writing on the wall 10-20 years down the road they will be looking at closing factories and moving outside of the US boundaries in order to survive.
Cortez slammed Trump about ICE,which is actually regulated by DHS and not Trump, but in her first voting opertuinity to vote in the house she voted aye for ICE funding.

Tulsi Gabbard was also appointed to the House Financial services Committee chaired by, unbelievably, Maxine Waters. While the combination of Waters, Talib and Cortez promises to be interesting like sort of a fusion of Hugo Chavez and clown cultures, some good may come out of this. This marvelous backdrop of Marxist clown culture will make Tulsi Gabbard, almost no matter what she says, sound like the most stable and rational person on the Democratic majority of that Committee. It could help Tulsi Gabbard's quest for the presidency.

With its silly swipes at AOC, the American political establishment is once again revealing its blindness to its own unpopularity
Over the ensuing days AOC hasn't fully endeared all whom she claims to be championing...
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is destroying opportunity for fellow Democrats
She is actually a plant put in by the Republican Party in order to destroy the radical left and cause disruption, she just does not realize it yet.
It will be just like the last election,The DNC will pick one and the rest will either be sacrificed for the greater good or become victims of robberies gone bad.
As a life-long Democrat, I think Bernie & Biden should step aside for 2020. I'm looking for some old-fashioned pragmatism, stability, and normalcy, from anyone from the younger generation that has brains. A gender mixed ticket with at least one candidate from the Midwest would seem to be the best bet to accomplish that. Any label of Socialism towards education, taxation, and health care may be appealing to some, but is that able to win an election at this time ?....don't think so.
Harris is too far to the left and West. I seriously question if a majority of Americans will vote for a black female candidate from California. Warren is already tainted.
That leaves me with a choice between Gillibrand, Gabbard, & Klobuchar as some part of the 2020 Democratic ticket. I can handle the background of all 3, but Gillibrand & Gabbard have flip-flopped on several issues in their short political careers. I'm leaning towards Klobuchar at this point, and of course reserve the right to change my opinion at any time as things unfold.
In general, I think a female not named Hillary or Liz needs to be part of the Democrat ticket.
^^^ Very compelling points. The continued partitioning of the dem party may usher in a fast Trump 2020 victory! I believe, withstanding the Sanders 2016 run, increasingly the judgement is that he's too old to fully advance the extreme agendas of the socialist dem faction. An agenda that will be met with some push-back [[and not just the usual repubs).
The democratic party must avoid alienating its core base by presenting stable candidates/ and realistic goals.
Most American's aren't into the extremes, inclusive of the far left which is increasingly far different than being liberal or traditional dem. It'll be interesting to see how the front runners in the dem party compete towards the finish line. The goal is not to self-destruct in the process.
Unfortunately, if Bernie comes too close to victory, like getting the actual popular votes in the Democratic Convention, the old guard will swipe the leadership from him. He doesn't represent corporate interests, he'll be flushed.
^^^ It can also be argued that Sanders does not represent the interests of middle/ centrist America either. A segment not too fond of socialist ideas and some of the progressive extremes of the far left.
This segment still represents a percentage of the democratice party and indies.
