Bing Administration Proposes More Cuts to Unions

"FOX 2 has obtained a proposal emailed to union leaders that outlines the severity of the cutbacks. It calls for tuition reimbursement to be eliminated and allows for the use of temporary employees. But one of the biggest hits could be felt by long timers when they retire.

Many count on a payment for unused sick time, but this deal would only allow for employees to cash in on 50 percent of their unused current sick leave. And they wouldn't get any payout for hours in their reserve sick leave bank."
