Maybe this should be on Connections? M.O.S.E.S is hosting a community debate and candidate presentations at 6 PM tonight, Sept. 16th, at Messiah Episcopalian Church on East Grand Blvd near Belle Isle. Might have to post a revision, my notes say Monday, my husbands, says Tuesday????

I plan to attend. I feel slightly bad since we had promised to be at a D.E.D. sponsored passive demonstration in Southwest Detroit for the Hernandez family, who are facing eviction. All Detroiters are our neighbors but sometimes you have to take care of your immediate hood.

Detroit Eviction Defense meets weekly at St John St Luke on Russell south of Gratiot every Thursday at 6:00 pm. A fund raiser is planned for the Jackson family on Sept 28th. More on that later.
