Adventuring in Detroit

I appreciated the heads up about the Mt. Elliot detour. Normally we take Mt Elliot up because do like shopping in Hamtramck. Easy way would be to Take I 75 to Caniff Holbrook exit but thought it might be fun to see where the detour took us to get to our destination.

The detour must have been designed by monkeys on drugs or perhaps a consulting crew in California. We enjoyed an insane trip that landed you no where. Loved the sign that stated detour ends but doesn't tell you to go right or left or even straight.

We know our way around but for someone who does not, I think I would have found the closest expressway and split. We found it scenic and a mini adventure.
