real-life detroit-based discussion forums about planning?

As is obvious, I'm new-ish to Detroit [[former resident, recently returned). I've noticed there are some other urban planners here... does anyone know if there are any local discussion groups focused on planning issues that meet regularly? I know Model D and some other orgs occasionally have speakers talk about planning stuff, but I'm looking for a smaller, more informal group. I'm not looking for advocacy groups organized around particular issues either, but people who just want to have a conversation and learn new things. Thanks.
