Ah, the irony of downtown Detroit getting an "open space" award ...
How awesome is that??? Campus Martius is a really cool place to go in the winter and summer.
Wonderful! Thanks for the link. I hope our Riverwalk gets some recognition as well. With every phase, it is getting nicer and nicer. It's quickly becoming my favorite spot downtown for a walk, and I think I'll start biking there soon.
Campus Martius ranks higher than Grant Park, Central Park and Centennial Park?
Here's hoping that at sometime in the next few years that Capitol Park could win a similar award! :o
It really is an amazing park, I'm looking forward to continuing my blog from there this Spring, with daughter in tow!
Jeez. Seems like she'd be too big for that, now.
Still, make sure you wear open-toad sandals, or something.
Simply beautiful! Glad 2 C that Detroit is getting some positive news.
Just be a good dad to that girl and she'll never give a damn whatcha carried her around in.
Why does the ice skating rink play such shitty music? Detroit has a rich music scene from nearly every decade, and we are stuck hearing crap like Miley Cyrus and Nickleback blasting?
