The
early eighties saw the rebuilding of the Detroit auto industry.
Several famous automotive ruins were razed during that time
including Dodge Main, Uniroyal Tire, and Cadillac Fleetwood.
In
this early eighties painting a Hamtramck classic, a symphony
of glass and brick, Chrysler's
Dodge Main complex falls to to
the blows of the wrecking balls to make way for a windowless
General Motors Cadillac Plant.
