Paradise Lost
Lakeside Trailer Court

Completing our tour is the Fisherman's Marina store, seen looking north from the Riverside Blvd. bridge over Fox Creek where we began this tour. In the distance can be seen the bend in the canal from the previous picture. The store, deprived of its customer base in the trailer park, is now an under stocked and dying business, not unlike the area around it.

It seems unlikely that the area will long remain in such a condition. Abutted against the wealthy Grosse Pointe suburbs and with such beauty and water access, it has to be an area of high speculation in a recovering City of Detroit.
