Turning
south I traveled down to Joy Road where, just to the west
of Greenfield, I stopped to visit the visit the grave
site of the single most important figure in modern Detroit
history, Henry Ford.
Protected
by a metal grate, his flat tomb lies beside the identical
grave of his wife Clara. Surrounding his grave in the
tiny graveyard are several other Ford family members dating
from the 19th Century.
